MACE BODE FABULE

Born in the ancient city of Abeokuta, Ogun State on 1^st October, 1960. Mace Bode Samuel FABULE hails from Ijebu-Ijesa in Oriade Local Government area of Osun State. He is a staunch member of Mace Club of Nigeria with high level of commitment to its growth and development. He joined the Club on 26^th December 1985 barely a year to its establishment. By the special grace of God Bode is a member of Mace Club Board of Trustee.

Mace Fabule has always been a progressive member of our dear Club, a diligent, tireless and law-abiding member who have served in so many capacities. He is respected for his dedication, sensibility, and useful services to the Club. These are parts of the qualities observed by some members who referred to him as the “MOST SERVICEABLE MEMBER” of our Club. He is a facilitator of success, an apostle of positive change, a goal-getter and a team player whose commitment to the goal and vision of Mace Club is unparalleled.

Bode is an erudite Educational and Counselling Practitioner with over 33years of Public Service. A Public Servant on Grade Level 17 in the Public Service of Ogun State and Secondary School Principal with Ogun State Teaching Service Commission. He is also an accomplished Publisher and Author with 18 books to his credit. He is the Managing Director of Librabod Global Resources, a publishing outfit.

Mace Fabule is the highest recipient of awards in the history of the Mace Club. These include, but not limited to:

1. Outstanding Member of the Year Award –  5times
2. Punctuality Award –  7times
3. Executive Member Award –  2times
4. Most Discipline Member Award –  7times
5. Best Lecturer Award – 1time

He also won several awards as a Member/Secretary/Chairman of many committees where he had the opportunity to serve. It is also not a gainsaying or mere fallacy to say that Mace Bode is the longest-serving member in the Executive Council of the Club. He served as:

1. Secretary-General – 1986 – 1991
2. Vice President – 1992 – 1993
3. Acting Secretary General – Feb – Dec 2001
4. Secretary-General –  2002 – 2003
5. Vice President –  2010 – 2012

Academically, Mace Fabule holds:

1. Master of Education (M.Ed), University of Ibadan.
2. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), University of Ibadan.
3. National Certificate of Education (NCE), Ogun State College of Education now Tai Solarin College of Education.
4. West African Examination Certificate (WAEC), NUD Grammar School, Obantoko, Abeokuta.
5. Primary School Certificate, Methodist Primary School, Oke-Yeke, Abeokuta.

Mace Bode Fabule whose hobbies include Socializing, Reading and Writing is married to Mrs. Beatrice Amope FABULE and the wedlock is blessed with wonderful and well-cultured children.
